We are continuing our beginner-level, functional exercise classes. Focus will be placed on balance and core development. Various pieces of equipment will be used to support the exercises (balls, noodles, weights, and chairs). Participants should wear comfortable clothes and sneakers and bring water. Plan on arriving 10 minutes early with personal ID to sign the Y’s liability waiver.
About the Instructor
Ken Currier is a fitness enthusiast with 20 years of experience in health and fitness, with a particular focus on entry-level fitness. He is the Fitness & Recreation director at Wentworth by the Sea Country Club and serves individual clients ages 60-80 years. He is certified in Fitness & Nutrition (Fitness Resource Associates, American College of Sports Medicine, and Aerobics and Fitness Association of America). He is certified in Fitness for Seniors (National Academy of Sports Medicine), an area of specific interest.
