The Seacoast Village Project

We are now officially a New Hampshire 501(c)(3) non-profit corporation! This summer, we will be welcoming, vetting, and training volunteers for programs and member services.  Social and educational events will begin soon, and we anticipate welcoming members in the fall of 2019.  Feel free to contact us if you have any questions and be sure to check our website periodically for updated information and a calendar of events.

In October of 2018, we adopted the by-laws for our organization and elected our first board of directors. During our pre-launch phase, we have formed six teams, and over 50 community volunteers with a variety of skills are supporting our effort.

Please download our brochure for more detailed information.

The Village Movement
It all started in 1999, when a few Boston Beacon Hill neighbors sought a membership connection to help them remain independent as needs increased with age. The Village to Village Network, a national organization, was formed in 2010 to share guidance, resources and support with new members. There  are  now  over 200 Villages across the  country  with  another 150 in the  works.  (We are  one  of  them.)
