Join fellow village members at The Players’ Ring at Prescott Park for an intimate theater experience with the performance of Shakespeare’s Macbeth. The play will be followed by a reception in the historic Pitt Tavern at Strawbery Banke where we will have the opportunity to socialize with fellow members and meet the cast and crew of the play. SVP Member, Ellen Karelitz, is host. Her daughter Emily is the producer and a cast member.
The production promises to be “a drum-beating, hair-raising, blood-pumping, two-faced production of Shakespeare’s tragedie of Macbeth” after which there will be a talkback with the audience. Parking is available at the Strawbery Banke parking lot.
We have a special rate of $19 per ticket. (The normal ticket price for seniors is $25.) This event is a collaboration between the North and East Clusters, but all Members & their guests are welcome.
