Volunteer with Us
Seacoast Village Project is a vibrant, supportive community of 250 adults, aged 50 and better, that fosters friendship, well-being, and a shared sense of purpose through social events, educational opportunities, and neighbors helping neighbors. We are launching our Village Volunteer Corps, community members who volunteer alongside our members to help meet the growing needs of our Village. Whether you have an hour a month or a few hours each week, there is a place for you here.
How You Can Help
Our volunteers help Villagers with everyday needs, including:
Drive Villagers to appointments and errands. Drivers must be age 25 or older.
Help with leaves, gardening, or holiday lights. Install or store air conditioners, clear snow, and more.
Help with shopping and other everyday errands.
Make friendly visits and check-in calls.
Help Villagers with phones, computers, and everyday technology.
Walk dogs and find other ways to lend a hand.
You can also support the Village as a whole by leading or hosting programs, helping in the office, or serving on a committee.
Volunteer Qualifications
You do not need to be a member of Seacoast Village Project to volunteer.
We welcome volunteers age 16 and older who want to support older neighbors in our community. High school and college students, working professionals, retirees, and anyone with a little time and a desire to help are encouraged to volunteer with us.
Volunteers under 18 will need permission from a parent or guardian and will not enter members' homes. Volunteers who provide rides must be age 25 or older.

- Complete the Volunteer Interest Form. It takes about two minutes.
- We will follow up within 48 hours to schedule a short conversation and share an application.
- Complete the next steps. These include a brief background check, a short orientation, and signing our volunteer agreement. Then you are ready to be matched with your first assignment.
