Come Zoom with us to learn more about GATHER, the Seacoast's non-profit organization, dedicated for 200 years to building food security for our residents.  One of the oldest social service agencies in the nation, GATHER feeds close to 10,500 New Hampshire and Maine residents every single month.  To accomplish this, some 50 volunteers A DAY are needed for its kitchens, food pantries, deliveries, mobile markets and food collections from local stores and restaurants.

Whether you are interested in their free shopping for fresh foods and dry goods, free “meals to go,” volunteering or donating, this informative discussion will leave you feeling good about the efforts of hundreds of our neighbors who make GATHER’’s work possible!

Our presenter will be Kate Constantine, Community Engagement Manager at Gather— Kate will be discussing the history and mission of the organization. Facing recent federal cuts and a continuing rise in food costs, the organization is working harder than ever to meet the growing needs of our neighbors on the Seacoast.

Kate will lead a discussion regarding the challenges for seniors and others and how GATHER is meeting the need through innovative programs and increased outreach.

Kate will also tell us about the organization's commitment to fighting food waste and the programs they've implemented to keep good healthy food out of landfills and onto the plates of families in need.

Please REGISTER and join us for this timely, important discussion!  (Hosted by Susan Getman, a GATHER volunteer and carrot-cutter extraordinaire!)
