Most everyone loves mushrooms. The tour of the New Hampshire Mushroom Company in Tamworth will take place from 12 to 1 PM. It will cover their growing facility, cultivation methods, foraging and class offerings. There will be an opportunity to purchase mushrooms and browse their gift shop. (As a follow-up to this event, we anticipate having a field trip this fall on the Seacoast by an expert forager.)

 

On our return, we will have a late lunch (optional) at Jake’s Seafood and Grill in West Ossipee. 

 

We will carpool from the Seacoast to Tamworth, leaving at 10:30 AM. When registering, please indicate whether you can drive or need a ride. We will follow up with drivers and passengers to determine meeting spots. Please let us know if you plan to have lunch in the comment section as well.
