Join us on this special three-hour cruise down the Piscataqua River to Wood
Island Life Saving Station. Along the way, sights will be pointed out, and at one point, one of the crew members will provide an interesting historical talk about the role of the Gundalows in our region. When we dock at Wood Island, we will have an opportunity to walk around. Wood Island Life Saving Station Museum will be officially open to the public in 2024, but we get an early visitation. Going on the Piscataqua Gundalow provides a leisurely, comfortable way to sail. While on board you cannot help but imagine what times were like in the past—and that the Piscataqua is the only Gundalow in the country. We will provide refreshments.
