The Seacoast Village Project encompasses multiple Seacoast areas, referred to as "clusters" or compass neighborhoods. While there are programs and services that span all areas, not all clusters have the same interests and priorities. The January meet-up is an important opportunity for members who live in Portsmouth, Newington and Greenland to share their thoughts and ideas for future social and educational programs and services and to help shape the future of the East Cluster. Non-members are welcome to join us and learn more about the Village. Light refreshments will be served. Every member in the East Cluster area should plan to attend.
About the Facilitator
For more than 20 years, Nancy Euchner has worked as an eldercare consultant and care manager on the Seacoast and was increasingly concerned that services that were easiest to locate to support aging adults and families were often the costliest--ones that are focused on medical aspects of aging and functional decline. In response to this, Nancy became a founding member and volunteer with the Seacoast Village Project, a network of older adults working together to improve their odds of being able to stay in the homes and communities they love for as long as they choose, by getting connected, getting smart and helping each other out.
