This is a tour of the energy efficient dream home of Caroline Kurtz and Steve Connelly. To design and build such a home, they took inspiration from others that embraced this concept and began thinking of a design that was both energy efficient and contained an integrated greenhouse. They wanted to live closer to nature, to put less of a burden on the environment, and to have a warm sunny greenspace year round that would allow them to grow plants and vegetables in the winter. The only way to find such a home was to design and build it.They found an ideal south facing location in North Hampton NH. They spent their first winter in it last year, and their excitement about this project is fun and inspiring. This is their story.
Please find the address of the home in the confirmation and reminder emails after you register.
