VILLAGE MEMBER STORIES

Phyllis Stibler (New Castle)

Phyllis has lived in the NH Seacoast  area for 28 years, 17 years in Barrington and presently in New Castle. Prior to that she lived all over the USA.

Phyllis founded Stibler Associates Space Planning and Interior Design, LLC in 1982. The firm continues under that name with new leadership and a staff of eight professionals managing commercial design projects throughout the US and UK.

She enjoys traveling with a sketch journal and has hosted plein air sketching/painting sessions at Carey Cottage for Village members. Phyllis has illustrated several children’s books, enjoys Baroque music, mediation, and going for walks and hikes.

Phyllis is also a docent at Alnoba in Kensington, where she will be leading a tour on June 29 for Village members. Alnoba, a quiet 600 acre landscape of hills, streams and fields, is home to more than 100 sculptures.  

She also keeps very busy as a Trustee of the New Castle Congregational Church.
