We will have a habitat hike that is approximately 0.6 mile long. This will be broken up into 5 stops that have benches to sit on/rest for each informational stop. There is plenty of time built in to have a slower pace! At the inside discovery tank, participants will sit or stand around the discovery tank and learn about the environment. There is waterfront exploration and mud snail racing as well. There is a place to sit infront of the waterfront where the volunteer educator will teach participants about mud snails, and then participants will head down to the boat launch/ waterfront area to explore! 

Following our guided tour, approximately 1 ½ hours, let’s enjoy our picnic lunches together at the picnic tables at the Center.
