About the Program
Join us at Strawbery Banke for this special behind-the-scenes tour in the Carter Collections Center. Visitors will tour the second and third floors of the climate controlled facility where objects not regularly on display are stored. Objects include artwork, historic costumes, tools, furniture and personal items. You will learn how we store and care for items in the Museum collection.
Members must be able to easily climb two flights of stairs. We will divide into two small groups due to the close quarters in the collection rooms. Members will alternate, visiting the collections rooms with Elizabeth and the exhibit at the Carter Center: Sea Level Rise.
Light refreshments will be available.
