Seacoast Village members and guests—Join trainer Ken Currier for a beginner-level, functional exercise class. Focus will be placed on balance and core development. Various pieces of equipment will be used to support the exercises (balls, noodles, weights, and chairs). Prior to attending the class, everyone should complete a short survey and the Y’s liability waiver. Participants should wear comfortable clothes and sneakers and bring water.
About the Trainer
Ken Currier is a fitness enthusiast with 20 years of experience in health and fitness, with particular focus on entry-level fitness. He is the Fitness & Recreation director at Wentworth by the Sea country Club and serves individual clients ages 60-80 years. He is certified in Fitness and Nutrition (Fitness Resource Associates, American College of Sports Medicine, and Aerobics and Fitness Association of America). He is also certified in Fitness for Seniors (National Academy of Sports Medicine), an area of specific interest.
