After a two year absence, three tall ships are coming to Portsmouth Harbor on Thursday, August 11 and staying through the weekend. They will arrive as part of the Parade of Sail up the Piscataqua River and will be visible from New Castle as they enter the river. Village Member Nancy Euchner is planning a house party in New Castle for members to enjoy this amazing event.

 

The parade time estimated to start at 10:30 (this can vary with tide and staging times as the parade gets organized in the harbor).  We will open up early to give people time to park, get settled and mingle a bit.  As guests arrive, we'll serve light breakfast foods and keep a beverage station open.  After the sail, those who wish to stay can join us for lunch.

 

Current members may invite a guest as long as they are arriving in the same vehicle.  Additional details will be provided to those who RSVP.
